Recently, the US exporter started to offer square billet price for Taiwan’s buyers. However, its new offer was US$7/ton higher than buyers expected.
Buyers indicated that rebar price is expected to slide to NT$18,500/ton in the coming future, so they won’t buy any billet at the price of higher than US$540/ton.
It’s said that the domestic billet was quoted at NT$17,000/ton much lower than imported offer.
