Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) announced the new price police for April delivery on March 30th.
The company decided to cut the prices of 300 series stainless steel products by NT$4,000/ton in domestic market for April delivery; that for overseas market has decreased by US$100~US$130/ton.
In addition, the prices for 400 series stainless steel products have remained unchanged.
Yusco said that even the supply and demand for stainless steel products remained stable recently; the company still decided to cut the prices for April delivery to reduce pressure of fluctuated raw material prices that the customers faced.
Also, the company expects that the price dip could resist the invasion of low-priced imports.
