Brazil’s Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) planned to increase sales of iron ore to 30 million tons in 2011.
It’s known that its subsidiary, Namisa will sale out about 20 million tons of iron ore; Casa de ra will offer 10 million tons.
Also, Casa de ra has provided iron ore to Volta Redonda which is also the subsidiary of CSN and its annual crude production is at 56 million tons.
In addition, CSN’s sales of iron ore hit the new record high at 25.30 million tons in 2010, up by 13%.
Furthermore, the company has planned to invest around US$1.44 billion for the exploration of iron ore this year as it has seen the positive outlook for iron ore market.
