Reportedly, China’s Pingxiang Iron & Steel successfully developed 781tons of 60# steel through continuous casting furnace and completed all new varieties of steel smelting plans in this month.
It's known that 60# steel will be mainly used for drawing, which requires low inclusion content of slab.
Furthermore, it has built up the foundation for this company in development of hard high-carbon steel wire.
