Reportedly, Tokyo Steel announced to cut the scrap prices by ￥500/ton at its three works in Okayama, Takamatsu and Utsunomiya today.
The current H2 scrap prices in Okayama are￥37,000/ton; that in Takamatsu is ￥35,000/ton and in Utsunomiya is￥35,000/ton.
Besides, the company decided to remain the H2 scrap purchase prices unchanged at ￥37,000/ton for its mills in Kyushu and Tahara respectively.
