According to data of Russia’s Federal State Statistics Service, Russia’ ferro-silicon output in February totaled 66.8 thousand tons, down by 22% month on month; also, it decreased by 2.1% from last February.
Besides, the Russia’s low-carbon ferro-chrome production was 18.6 thousand tons in February, increased by 2.5% in comparison of that in January; however, it was up by 0.9% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country’s production of ferro-silicon in the first two months of 2011 soared by 12.1% year on year; while, that of ferro-chrome declined by 5.4% year on year
