According to statistics, South Korea's iron ore import reached around 4.12 million tons, up by 12.8 percent from a year ago.
The total imports soared to about 31.5 million tons in the first seven months as well, up by 43.6 percent compared with the same period of last year.
The main countries exported to South Korea are as following: 22.338 million tons from Australia, 6.137 million tons from Brazil, 1.593 million tons from South Africa, and 447,000 tons from Canada.
